For the sports fans, Brisbane has two major sporting venues. Suncorp Stadium, formerly Lang Park, is the home of the Brisbane Broncos, Queensland Reds and Brisbane Roar and hosts the rugby league State of Origin each year. The Gabba is the home of Queensland Cricket as well as the Brisbane Lions in the AFL.
