Victoria's is the home of some of Australia’s best snowfields catering for all activities including ski, snowboard, snow tube, half pipe and cross-country skiing. The snow season in Victoria officially runs from the Queen's Birthday weekend in June until the first weekend in October.
The larger snow resorts include a range of on-mountain accommodation choices for visitors from lodges to luxury chalets. Plus, there are also many off-mountain options in nearby towns and villages with buses available to take you to the snowfields.
Major towns in the Victorian Snowfields include Falls Creek, Mount Buller, Mount Hotham, Mount Stirling and Dinner Plain.
