Lorne is just 2 hours from Melbourne Airport ( Tullamarine ) or 11/4 from Geelong's Avalon airport. V-line coaches are availble from Geelong & a shuttle service is available by appointment direct to Lorne from Avalon. Once in Lorne we are 800m North of the Post Office at the juction of The Great Ocean Road ( B100 ) & Deans Marsh Road.

The Lorne Coachman Inn is conveniently situated on the northern end of town in a peaceful setting overlooking the Erskine River just a 2 minute walk to the beach. We offer 19 luxurious units, including a disabled suite. Guests can choose between spacious deluxe or spa rooms. All units have small kitchenettes equipped with microwave ovens, fridges and toasters. Featuring queen-size beds the rooms are well appointed with modern furnishings and are decorated in restful pastel colours. Undercover parking, in-room mini bars, single sofa beds in Deluxe rooms, direct dial, in-room phones are thoughtful extras provided at the inn that create a home away from home. A restful, guest barbecue and picnic area at the rear of the property is a historic spot, once part of the stable area for Waverly House. The elevated position is set into the hillside.
