From Devonport, follow signs to Cradle Mountain via Sheffield. Drive to Cradle Mountain from Launceston along the Bass Highway (Highway 1) and take the Railton turnoff. Follow the signs to Sheffield & Cradle Mountain. At Sheffield turn left (sign posted to Cradle Mountain) just before entering the main business area. Follow this road to Moina, turn left at the T-junction and continue on to Cradle Mountain. The road into the National Park is clearly sign posted to the left, and Cradle Mountain Chateau is on this road, approximately 2 km along on the right. From Strahan & the West Coast, take the signs to Burnie. After passing through the town of Tullah, towards Burnie, take the turn off to Cradle Mountain. Drive for 20 minutes.
