Getting to Gold Coast
Gold Coast by Air
Gold Coast International Airport is your gateway to the Gold Coast. Situated along the Gold Coast Highway in Coolangatta, it’s just 25 mins away from Surfer’s Paradise and 40 mins from Byron Bay. With 310 international and domestic flights a week, it’s easy to get to and from the Gold Coast, no matter how long you plan to stay. Alternatively, you can fly into Brisbane, which is just over an hour’s drive from the Gold Coast or 90 minutes by AirTrain.
Gold Coast by Car
Interlinking the 57 kilometres of surf and sand is the Pacific Highway – Gold Coast Highway. Driving to the Gold Coast is easy and it’s just an hour away from Brisbane. The next nearest capital city is Sydney which is about 11 and a half-hour trip. Driving to the Gold Coast is a great way to see Australia’s glorious coastline and a fun journey to take with your friends or family.
